Booking Terms and Conditions
1. Refunds
The Opera House operates a no refunds policy, except in exceptional circumstances or if a performance is cancelled or rescheduled.
2. Ticket Exchanges
Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same show, subject to availability and with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the performance. To request an exchange, please email: [email protected].
3. Concessions
Unless otherwise stated, concessions are available for:
- Under 18
- Over 60
Eligibility may vary by performance.
4. Reservations
Reservations made by phone or in person will be held for a maximum of 48 hours, after which they will be automatically released for general sale.
For performances close to selling out, the Opera House reserves the right to refuse or cancel unpaid reservations without notice to prioritise confirmed purchases.
5. Latecomers
Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance, and in some cases, may not be admitted at all depending on the nature of the event.
6. Cast Changes
We reserve the right to change the advertised cast without prior notice.
7. Admission Rights
The Opera House reserves the right to refuse admission. All visitors must treat staff, volunteers, performers, and other audience members with respect.
8. Unaccompanied Children
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times while on the premises.
Refund Policy
1. General
All ticket sales are final. Refunds are only issued if a performance is cancelled or in exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the Opera House. Requests should be sent to: [email protected].
2. Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests due to personal circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.
3. Buy Back Option
We do not offer a buy back service unless the event is a sell-out. Resale is not guaranteed and is subject to our discretion and demand.
4. Final Sale Terms
All transactions are final unless a refund is approved due to cancellation or a promoter-initiated change.
Event Information
1. Event Terms
Your attendance at any event may be subject to additional terms set by the Opera House or the event’s promoter. These will be clearly communicated on tickets or event listings as needed.
2. Cancellations & Postponements
In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will be contacted directly and issued a refund or offered an exchange, depending on the situation. Postponed events may carry adjusted terms — please contact the Box Office for the most up-to-date information.
3. Ticket Limits
Ticket limits may be imposed per customer or household to ensure fair access. Orders exceeding these limits may be cancelled without notice.
4. Ticket Availability
Availability is subject to change. Additional seats may be released closer to the performance. Tickets held in online baskets are temporarily locked and may reappear if the transaction isn’t completed.
5. Pricing & Errors
If a ticket is sold at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction and refund the amount paid.
6. Resale
Tickets may not be resold for profit. Any resale or attempted resale in breach of this policy may lead to cancellation of the ticket without refund.
