St Brelade’s Church

Enjoy a Liberation concert after the Musical walk (see separate event at 2pm walking around the beautiful coastline from Ouaisne to St Brelade’s Bay on Jersey’s South coast). The concert features violinist Liberation Vocal Consort directed by Graham Caldbeck and Harriet Mackenzie, with guitarist Morgan Szymanski.

The programme includes:

Antonio Vivaldi (1678 – 1741) Violin Concerto No.9 in D major RV230, Allegro – Largo – Allegro

Dowland (1563 – 1626) – ‘Flow my Tears’, arranged for violin and guitar

Biber (1644 – 1704)  – Passacaglia


Francisco Tárrega (1852 – 1909) – Recuerdos de la Alhambra

Trad: Spanish Dance

Piazzolla (1921 – 1992) – Histoire de Tango, Bordell 1900, Café 1930, Nightclub 1967


To refresh the thirsty before the evening concert in St Brelade’s Church cakes and tea are served in St Brelade’s Church Hall.  The concert will finish around 8pm.
