Pierre Horsfall (CBE)
Best known for serving 27 years as a Member of the States of Jersey (local government) and retiring as the Senior Member, Pierre Horsfall has also served on numerous committees, charities and boards including six years as Chairman of Jersey Finance Ltd. Judging by events at Jersey Opera House under the present Board and Management Team, his reputation for getting things done is well founded.
Dave is the Head of Project Delivery at the Channel Islands Co-Operative Group, a position he has started recently. Prior to this he was the Managing Director of Cimandis Ltd, the leading Food Wholesaler and Distributor on the Channel Islands. Dave undertakes a number of roles including being a Non-Exec Director at the Jersey Opera House, Chair of the Jersey Craft Guild of Chefs & member of the Chamber of Commerce Retail & Supply Chain Sub-Committee. He has also been a JHA Management Committee member for the last three years and – being a Chartered Management Accountant – has recently taken up the role of Director, and Honorary Treasurer.
Beverley Le Cuirot
Beverley Le Cuirot has over 30 years’ experience in B2B and B2C Marketing, Business Development, Customer Service Delivery and Organisational Leadership gained with blue chip financial and consumer brands, initially in London and for the last 20 years from Jersey, working internationally in 200 countries. In 2008 she established Immediate Impact Limited, a marketing consultancy, and alongside this in 2011 she created WellBeing World, a membership organisation representing more than 60 wellbeing service providers in Jersey, Guernsey and the UK. She also continues to work as a Strategic Consultant and Non-Executive Director.
Mary O’Keeffe-Burgher is a Jersey businesswoman who was Director of the Liberation Music Festival. She also has experience working in the arts in Orkney & Norway. She has a Masters degree in European Cultural Studies from Aberdeen University. Mary also is CEO of her own company, Andium HVR Global, which specialises in international off market properties.
An advocate of the Royal Court, Cyril has some 40 years’ experience of working at senior management levels within both the public and private sectors. He remains the Island’s senior Crown Advocate and among other appointments is a Commissioner of the Jersey Financial Services Commission. His lifelong interest in the arts remains unabated.
The Opera House Charitable Trust (“the Trust”) was established in 2011. The objects of the Trust include the advancements of the arts and culture and to raise monies by way of gifts, bequests, legacies and donations from any legitimate source for the benefit of the Jersey Opera House Limited.
The trustees are Jurat Anthony Olsen (Chairman), Pierre Horsfall CBE, John Mills CBE (Secretary) and Michael Blackie (Treasurer). They meet regularly to consider donations and requests for distributions.
Funds raised from Friends of Jersey Opera House are donated to the Trust and invested into Jersey Opera House.
